This movie is a heartwarming tribute to womanhood , especial mothers who sacrifice their dreams and aspirations consciously or subconsciously for the good of their families.
Thanks to Rosshan Andrews who filmed this idea, gently but powerfully telling the story of a middle aged mother . Appreciate the man who recognized the need to awaken and inspire the unsung heroines of everyday life.
Nirupama, the role played by Manju Warrier , represents the ordinary woman leading a normal life. And that is all her family( husband and daughter) knows or rather cares to know about her. But the movie subtly reminds us that no woman who seems to be leading a mediocre life should be ignored as unexciting, uncool or like she never has or had an ambition in life. Circumstances would have suppressed her desire to follow her passion and be what she wants to be.
This was the apt come-back movie for Manju Warrier , almost like her own life story. Kunjacko Boban who plays the role of her husband , looks more like her younger brother! He who has to this day successfully managed the image of a teenager like Namitha Pramod 's hero, suddenly got promoted to the role of a teenager's father in this movie!!!! Anyway, it's hard to deny that he has done his part pretty well.
There is also a relevant issue discussed in this movie about health and nutrition, organic farming and stuff like that.( maybe I felt that it's relevant cos this topic has caught my interest of late )
Not giving away much about the story line , else it will spoil the fun 😊.
A must-watch for all women especially mothers who need a break to stop all that clothes folding , vegetable chopping, vacuum cleaning , diaper changing, bathroom scrubbing etc for 2 1/2 hours ( yeah after the movie you have to get back to your routine 😋) and take a moment to reflect , to see if you have lost your dream somewhere down the lane in between your chores and aspire to achieve it... regardless of your age... because it's never too late to start again!!
